Eric Hopkins, Youth Leadership Co-Chair, received The Monsanto Fund America's Farmers Grow Communities Award for the 2nd year in a row for Palm Beach County. He is donating the award proceeds ($2500) to the Youth Leadership Scholarship Fund, creating two additional scholarships in the amount of $1250 each to the YLPBC Class of 2012.

Leadership Palm Beach County's new executive director, Christina D'Elosua, has been nominated for the 2012 Bernays Award in Community Service! The 8th Annual Bernays Awards, hosted by The Gold Coast PR Council, honor excellence by the local PR and marketing community. Christina will be recognized at a special awards luncheon on Friday, January 20th at The Hamlet Country Club in Delray Beach.

The YWCA of Palm Beach County has announced that LPBC Graduate Kelly Fason is the recipient of its Grace Hoadley Dodge Award for 2010. The award is presented annually to a woman residing in Palm Beach County who has overcome adversity and in the process has not only empowered herself but also created opportunities for and led other women toward their own empowerment.
