Do you know a nonprofit that could use help launching a new program or a new fundraising campaign or a new advocacy message?

We’re sure you could probably name a few in Palm Beach County in need of such support.

If so, be sure your favorite charity applies for an LPBC civic engagement project for next year. Leadership Engage Class of 2016 will work on a select number of those projects for nearly 10 months.

Requests for proposals are out and those interested in applying must attend a workshop on June 10 at 10-12 pm at Literacy Coalition of Palm Beach County in Boynton Beach or June 18 at 4-6pm at Palm Beach Post at 2715 S. Dixie Highway in West Palm Beach. Proposals are due July 8 at 12 pm.

Why apply? Here are three reasons:

1) You’ll get access to high-caliber leaders as pro bono consultants who can support your work to address key community issues.

2) You’ll get fresh perspectives and ideas from working professionals in a range of industries with specific expertise.

3) You’ll get specific deliverables aimed at addressing important issues challenging Palm Beach County.
