WEST PALM BEACH, FL – Leadership Palm Beach County will celebrate the ninth annual Leadership Excellence Awards recognizing exceptional Leadership program graduates who have made significant contributions to improve our community. Presented by Florida Power & Light and Gunster Attorneys at Law, the event is planned for April 18th at The Marriott West Palm Beach and will honor five finalists and seven award nominees as well as announce this year’s recipient. Finalists are nominated by Leadership alumni as well as current class members.
Honorary Chairmen of the event are H. William Perry of Gunster and Pamela Rauch of Florida Power & Light. Co-Chairmen of the event are Kenyetta V. Haywood, Esq. of the School District of Palm Beach County and Monte Lambert of Forte Interactive.
“My involvement in Leadership Palm Beach County has had a tremendous impact on my career and my involvement in this community. It has been instrumental in expanding my knowledge of our area’s needs, both economically and socially,” said Pamela Rauch, Honorary Chairman and Vice President of Development and External Affairs at Florida Power & Light.
Finalists of the award are selected based on the vision and mission of Leadership Palm Beach County. These individuals reflect the leadership qualities of integrity, compassion, credibility, passion, risk-taking, fairness, empowerment and humility.
