Noel, a proud graduate of Leadership Palm Beach County’s Class of 2014 and a former board of governor’s member, has joined LPBC as the Executive Director.
Noel has extensive experience in growing the operations of nonprofit organizations in Palm Beach County through event planning, membership growth, and many fundraising initiatives. Noel has worked as vice president of corporate partnerships and special events at Boys & Girls Club of Palm Beach County. Before that, Noel was director of membership development at Northern Palm Beach County Chamber of Commerce, where he was responsible for the overall growth and retention of the membership of the organization. In addition, Noel has significant experience in sales and development in the corporate sector, most recently at Hoover Architectural Products.
Noel lives in Jupiter, where he volunteers his time to better his community. In addition to working for leading nonprofit agencies, he’s also served in volunteer leadership roles throughout Palm Beach County and Florida, including at the Executive Director Advisory Council for the Riviera Beach CRA Director, Florida Association of Chamber Professionals, and ArtiGras Steering Committee.
His interests include travel, spending time outdoors, coaching youth sports, and Crossfit.
As a born and raised South Floridian, Katie believes that it is important to give back to the community that she holds so dear. Katie graduated in 2010 with her Bachelor of Arts in both Philosophy and Politics with a minor in Classical Studies from Lake Forest College and her Master’s in Public Administration in 2013 from Florida Atlantic University.
Katie is joining Leadership Palm Beach County after four years with Vita Nova, Inc. helping young adults transition to independence by providing a stable, nurturing environment that includes housing, counseling, and education. In her time there she took on many roles including grant writing, program development, and community outreach. She is also a proud alumna of AmeriCorps where she volunteered a year of service through Coach Across America working for SOS Outreach. Her duties included starting up a local branch of the non-profit to deliver a sport based youth curriculum and teaching youth how to kayak and standup paddle board while incorporating core values.
In her free time she volunteers with TOP Soccer, an organization she has coached with for 9+ years that allows the opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any athlete with a mental or physical disability. She also plays ice hockey weekly, which she has been doing for the past 17 years and is an alumna of the Delta Gamma Fraternity.
