West Palm Beach, Fla - Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) recently announced its 2014-2015 Board of Governors and incoming Board President, Tammy Clarke, Leadership Class of 2008.

Clarke is a senior tax director for BDO USA LLP in West Palm Beach and has more than 20 years public accounting experience in tax planning, compliance and consulting. She has extensive knowledge and experience in various industries, including construction, entertainment, healthcare, professional associations, real estate, retail and consumer products. She manages complex engagements with a high level of professional integrity.

Much like her professional career, Clarke is extremely active and committed to helping others. She lends her knowledge, experience and strong leadership to several business organizations and community groups. In addition to Leadership Palm Beach County, Clarke has held leadership positions with the Palm Beach County Medical Society Services, the FICPA and the Palm Beach Tax Institute.

"My experiences with Leadership PBC since 2007 have been life changing,” said Clarke.  “It's really incredible how much I've learned about this amazing county and all of the dedicated leaders in the community through this organization. I am humbled and very excited to be taking on the role of President of Leadership PBC for the next year.”

Clarke is also an accomplished and passionate photographer…capturing moments with her family, friends and colleagues.

Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) is a nonprofit organization that brings together leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to build and steward a vibrant, interconnected community.  Since 1983, our unique programs have prepared over 1,500 adult and youth leaders by deepening their civic commitment and awareness of diverse industries. Through connection and education of our county’s most promising leaders, LPBC creates a lasting impact in our county.

Leadership Palm Beach County, Inc., is an educational 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to foster awareness of community issues and promote efficient communication and cooperative relationships between existing and emerging community leaders. LPBC’s stated mission is to educate and unite leaders to build a better community.  Initiated in 1983 through a collaborative effort of the local Chambers of Commerce, LPBC has prepared more than 1,000 graduates for enhanced community leadership roles.
