Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) announces its 2016-2017 Board of Governors and incoming Board President, Nancy Proffitt, Leadership Engage Class of 2007.

Nancy Proffitt, President of Proffitt Management Solutions, holds an MBA in Finance & Operations and a Business Coaching Certification from the RAC Coaching Academy. She has extensive experience as a senior management executive at FedEx Corporation. She is a recognized author and keynote speaker on executive business coaching, leadership development, business management, strategic planning, and more. She has been named a “Top 100 Leader in Fortune 100 Business,” rated in the top 1% of Leadership and Business Performance in a Global 100 Business. In addition to her service on the LPBC Board of Governors, she volunteers for the Palm Beach County Medical Society and Girl Scouts of Southeast Florida. She is also a senior affiliate with Resource Associates Corporation and has been recognized as the Business Leader of the year with the Boca Raton Chamber of Commerce.

Leadership Palm Beach County (LPBC) is a nonprofit organization that brings together leaders from the public, private and nonprofit sectors to build and steward a vibrant, interconnected community. Since 1983, our unique programs have prepared more than 1,500 adult and youth leaders by deepening their civic commitment and awareness of diverse industries. Through connection and education of our county’s most promising leaders, LPBC creates a lasting impact in our county.

Initiated in 1983 through a collaborative effort of the local Chambers of Commerce, LPBC has prepared more than 1,000 graduates for enhanced community leadership roles.
