Civic Engagement Projects

Community engagement is a guiding principle of Leadership Palm Beach County. We empower leadership class members to take active roles in the community through our interactive curriculum as well as year-long civic engagement partnerships with civic organizations.  Some of the many organizations are listed above.

Civic engagement projects utilize the intellectual capacity of each class to address the needs and goals of civic organizations in Palm Beach County.

Please note, there have been minor changes to the RFP all projects must be submitted to apply@leadershippbc.org

In 2016, Leadership class members worked closely with representatives from ChildNet to develop the following PSA.  Watch the video here

Members of the Leadership Class of 2016 - ChildNet Civic Engagement Project.

Foster parents are so important for our area’s abused children – for many different reasons. The project that this Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2016 team took on was not an easy task.  We know that there is a lot of misinformation in the public concerning what fostering is and what is required. We appreciate the time and thought and care that this team took to understand the issues and to create such a lovely and compelling way to break it down and to make a difference.  Thank you.”
