Nonprofits First has awarded Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County their inaugural ”Hats Off” Nonprofit of the Year (Large) Award. Amy Brand, Class of 2018, is the Chief Development Officer of Habiatat for Humanity of Palm Beach County.

Baubles and Baskets 2017

Baubles & Baskets is an annual holiday fundraiser benefitting Center for Child Counseling's programs that support young children who have experienced abuse, violence, and other traumatic situations no child should have to endure. We are currently accepting auction items for our online auction and live basket auction at our Happy Hour event, as well as registration for our Holiday Happy Hour on November 9th at 5:30 PM, at Roxy's Rooftop pub in West Palm Beach! Baubles and Baskets 2017

On October 3rd, 2017 - Center Center for Child Counseling’s CEO, Renée Layman was named Executive of the Year by Nonprofits First at their first annual Nonprofits First "Hats Off" award ceremony, held at the Harriet Himmel Theater in West Palm Beach. A total of 28 CEOs and Executive Directors were nominated, from all across Palm Beach County. This prestigious award honors an executive “whose distinguished achievements have resulted in significant progress toward improving a community issue.” Under Renée's leadership, Center for Child Counseling has provided direct services for over 3,000 children - and trained over 3,500 professionals in the educational, medical, and childcare sectors. Renée Layman is a part of Leadership Florida’s Cornerstone class of XXXVI and graduated from Leadership Palm Beach County Class of 2010. Center for Child Counseling was founded in 1999 to provide the foundation for playful, healthful, and hopeful living for children and families in Palm Beach County.
